Aymestrey House Garden Centre, Aymestrey
A family business catering for the local gardening community. Bedding plant specialists. Gift shop and small farm shop. Open seven days a week.

Churches
The nine churches in Wigmore Abbey Parish are beautiful buildings and tell a fascinating story. Wigmore has an exhibition on the Mortimer family; Brampton Bryan is a Commonwealth church. Leintwardine has a conservation churchyard. Also churches at Shobdon, Lingen, Aymestrey, Leinthall Earls and Croft Castle. Come and visit them.

Lawton hall Herbs, Eardisland
Specialist nursery with an extensive range of culinary and aromatic herbs. Our herb pots and herbal products make unusual and attractive gifts. Fresh cut herbs in season from our herb garden.

Mortimers Cross Mill and Battle Museum
Part working Water Mill,Battle Centre and Riverside Tea Garden open Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 4pm. Other times by appointment. Group Tours a speciality. 01568-708820.

Lingen Nursey and Gardens, Lingen
Intensively planted gardens supported by a specialist alpine and herbaceous nursery. National collections held. Tea room. Access to the Mortimer Trail. Please telephone for opening times.

School House Art & Framing, Leintwardine
Gallery and specialist framer offering local artists’ original works, limited edition prints, giclées, fun art, all innovatively framed. Open Tuesday, Thursday – Saturday 10am – 5pm.

St Michael & All Angels, Kingsland
13th Century, built by Mortimers. Fallen in battle of Mortimer’s Cross annually remembered in a unique Volka chapel. Centre of the village community – cards, gifts on sale and refreshments opposite.

Croft Castle, The National Trust, 
Country walks and views over the once turbulent border marches, complementing elegant Georgian interior. estate open daily, gardens and castle open Wednesday to Sunday. A Tea room completes a memorable day out.
