Village Green Stores, Kingsland, Near
Leominster More than 500 years ago the village of Kingsland witnessed one of the most important battles of Wars of the Roses. The Battle of Mortimers’s Cross involved 50,000 soldiers, which left 4,000 dead. Today, Kingsland is a peaceful little community. The Village Green Stores has a decidedly “olde worlde” setting which provides a very up-to-date range of services which incorporates three businesses. The Award winning Village Shop has an extensive range of grocery and household items. Locally produced cheeses, juices, beers, hams, sausages, fruits and vegetables are always available. These items are used to produce homemade meals, snacks and cakes which are served in the Coffee Shop. |
