Upper Buckton Farm, Near Leintwardine,
Herefordshire Upper Buckton Farm is set in 450 acres of North Herefordshire countryside close the borders with Wales and Shropshire. It is an unspoilt area of great beauty and historical interest. The Georgian house is surrounded by beautiful grounds which slope gently to the mill stream and out to the motte. Beyond this lies the ha ha, old fashioned meadowland, the River Teme and the forested Wigmore Rolls. |

The house is comfortably furnished with
interesting paintings and furniture. Double and twin bedded
rooms all have private bathrooms, electric blankets and heating. In the
cooler months the sitting room is a pleasant place to take afternoon tea
or enjoy an after dinner coffee around the log fire. Alternatively, on
warm summer evenings, drinks can be taken outside on the veranda,
looking out over the croquet lawn. Yvonne's reputation for imaginative and delicious cooking, usually local produce, is a great attraction for visitors to Upper Buckton. Traditional and Cordon Bleu meals are accompanied by a carefully chosen and interesting wine list. There is much to attract the walker, the painter, bookworm and antique collector. |
